i dont know who reads or cares about this. but im seriously thinking about my future in this clan atm, and am in truth slightly relieved at the disbanding of DBK. i honestly feel like this clan is going the wrong way - there is too much arguing...to much bitching...to much backstabbing. i enjoy playing games with everybody in this clan - whether its CSS with the greatest team a guy could wish for or on tf2 having a laugh. but somewhere in all this i think we have lost sight of what the clan is about, we dont seem to appreciate each other or anybody elses wants in a game. i love playing for fun, as much as i love playing css. but, from what i can see now, very few people can enjoy doing the same thing. i have worked long and hard to set up a competitive part of css but this doesnt work in sync with the rest of the clan at this moment. in the future, we can persue the dream of making i35 (or whichever one there is).

please dont think im playing Jesus here, i have done wrong. i have been bitchy to other people and been annoyed by those who dont play css as well as me - but not anymore. i will still play wars with other people, i really enjoy it. but i also enjoy the company of the rest of the clan who play for fun and have no interest in seriousness. i dont want to be caught in the middle, and sometimes blamed, for the attitudes of others. yes, im not saint, but im trying my best to work on it. i feel priviliedged to be in this clan and play with truly great people. which is why i feel we must take a break from competitive stuff (for the time being) and stick to only fun wars. therefore, i am considering folding TCHS from EnemyDown for the time being, theres always the possibility of joining again in the future.

i have been a <look ma im swearing> <--- yes i wrote that to many people in this clan, some good friends, some freinds ive had for years and years and its because i have lost sight in what i wanted in a game. yes i want competitiveness - but this is only sometimes not all the time. i enjoy playing on jarhedz as much as i enjoy playing wars until 3 in the morning. but not everyone can do this.

therefore, i am no longer going to be the leader of css, although im pretty sure im being removed by the leaders of the clan anyway, i dont enjoy it anymore, i want to have the best of both worlds in terms of fun and seriousness, and therefore feel i cannot be leader of css. i would like to organise some stuff of course. i wish us all to play together and have fun. please can we do this and try to get along? is it to much to ask to have fun together 2 nights a week? wednesday, tf2, monday, css. heck im even up for garys mod with all of you people. this clan is going the wrong way in terms of arguments and new people not knowing each other.


life is truly too short and we need to appreciate it and respect others, which is why im writing this, i feel everyone can be blamed, i am not excluding myself. im just saying, dont count me in these arguments anymore. pls consider what ive said, can we try to play together? its only 2 nights per week, the rest of the time we can play what we like how we like, and because we have played together we appreciate others have different wants and needs in games. others can be serious the rest of the week and others can be fun the rest of the week. why shouldnt this work?

i am lucky to be in an amazing clan, i know fantastically skilled people and i hope to continue to be in it, though of course with restructuring im not sure im welcome.

like i said, im not looking for sympathy, i really want this clan to work out, and i want to be part of it. i want to help out with stuff to make this clan better, i want everyones opinions to be listened to. i dont want the arguments at 1 am in the morning with all the flaming, the looking down on people from both sides of the clan.

pls, can we just try? because i cant do this anymore.

i still dont wanna play it much anymore. At least TF2 is still really friendly.
I hope css gets less grr and more weee coz i just wasnt enjoying myself on it.

yeah i think we just need 2 be friendly gwt every1 back together and have gr8 fun as the clan is intended and droping ED prob good idea pertic as every1 is gtin bk 2 scholl or ready 4 uni neway so prob dnt av time 2 do all tht stuff now, hopefully every1 will get to know eachother better and have FUUUN lol

Wynney, you have absolutely nailed why we are getting rid of DBK, we've lost the sense of community we used to have. We have too many people who aren't really part of our community, and it's just not good for the type of clan we are.

The arguing is terrible, people have been taking things too seriously, and I think this happened partly due to being DBK and being too disconnected from the main clan.

Anyway, clean the wrecked train from the tracks so the next train can come along.

I have noticed it myself that there is a lot of whining and biznitching on the servers. I still like and want to be a part of this clan because the clan and I have a common objective: to have fun. I enjoy playing games for fun. If I get headshotted a million times it just means I am crap and the other person is better than me but you won't find me complaining!

I might have a few disagreements about the 'backstabbing' (/jk ), but you're absolutely right in what you've written.

Lets get our clan to be the way it was meant to be.

Wynney is right, we do have a possibility of doing ED again, but doing it very differently. By this I mean it would have to be taken less seriously and be done centred around the forum, to help build our community, rather than separate it into separate parts.

This will not happen straight away, as we need to sort out the lose ends of DBK first.

Though, not having a PC I can play with you guys on has made me take a step back. I havent exactly been active on the forums for a few days either to take a break from it. As such, I didn't understand some of the posts today, but to an end, the few days off and not having a C have got me into writing again... Hopefully Skillers will re-introduce that part of the site for a few of us.

I love being in this clan, since the whole "episode" I've really enjoyed every moment. This is one of the few places I get to really make close friends with people I wouldnt know otherwise!

I totally agree with Wynney on this... I know I've been mean to people in the past, I'm not the greatest player of anything, but I still like playing with everyone here. I just wish some more of the "New Guys" would be a lot more active!

Heh, an article system is somewhere on the list for changes, but it's quite near the bottom of Si's to do list (seeing as he's the one that has to code everything, and does an excellent job of it).

The recentralisation is an aim to get back to all the friendly stuff that we once had, with all clan members involved.

i also took time to read through this post, and i couldnt agree more with some of the stuff said.
I know myself that some of this might have been aimed at me, ive had many arguments with some people, and for that i apologise. I really want to start a new slate with one person in particular, as i feel since a few arguments in the past, weve been a little off with each other, i fully apolise for all this, youre are and were a great mate before and i dont want to lose that.
I agree with you markus that we should have 2 nights a week on css, that isnt asking for much as theres still 5 other days :p, but just recently ive been notising alot of new members on css and im not sure who they are, and i know it sounds stupid but ive been joining the server and not feeling as welcome as i have in the past, im sure if i got to know everyone a little better i would.
about ED i think its a good idea to give it a break for a while, however if we do start it up again it would be nice to see more of the clan being involved in it.
and i dont think this clan is going downhill at all, its the best (and only) clan ive ever properly been in for this legnth of time, all the stuff that has happened in this past week i think will be for the better.
this isnt the end of an eera (spelling)... its the beginning of a new one.
