Get some new ones, then. Also try repositioning the receiver if it's not in clear line of sight of keyboard/mouse.

Thread necro...

And it really does depend on the model and situation, you can get really good wireless mice, but they don't last as long and can be temperamental, but then you don't have a mass of wires. An experience with one mouse does not speak for the rest.

Thread necro a little understatement... was this still even on page 1?

Yea, I have several wireless and wired mice, some work better than others, my main pc has a wireless one which works well, and I have a wired keyboard to go with it instead of the wireless one that was in the set, its all what works well.

It would have been 5th from the bottom, I believe.

I have gone wired since this was written, and I'm finding it good, my mouse cable only snags every now and then when I trap it under the keyboard.

The thread is over 6months old when you posted in it, which is a necro.

Batteries can be a problem, but modern li-po batteries have good life, and you generally leave them on charge when not using them. Signal strength is a matter of receiver positioning and newer technologies. Unresponsiveness can be an issue, but is getting better. I used one for 3 years until I broke the scroll wheel, tried to fix it then broke the whole mouse. At that point I used another wireless we had around, until I got my G9 (the other wireless was a laptop mouse, which is small and nasty).

WIRED!

Always better. We had a wireless set for the big comp, but have gone back to the old (and i mean old) wired PS2 keyboard and a wired laser mouse.

The wireless keyboard was a bit crappy, the AAA's were rubbish and made one of them explode inside the case, and I went to inspect it and got battery acid on my hand... :/ Wonderful :(

i jst find with wireless they are highly unreliable.

when we moved to wireless broadband it took many days to set up because AOL stopped the internet working, AOLs fault i know, bt annoying.

basically, wireless has only caused problems for me, until recently.

the 360 controllers (wireless) r gd for example ;)

In regards to networking, Wireless is actually very good, I've used it for ages with no problem, and it's much easier than drilling holes everywhere for cables, and much better in the case of laptops. Though we have had a few naff routers.

Wireless is getting a lot better, with 360 and Wii controllers seeming to work all the time. I'd imagine keyboards and mice are getting better, aswell.
