Sweet, it is a nice case. Just gotta make sure your front bays match up, otherwise it's a waste.

It comes with one black brushed aluminium drive bezel, and I'm only purchasing one optical drive anyway. This means that my BD-ROM/DVD-RW combo drive will have a nice brushed aluminium exterior, flush with the case.

Unfortunately, I am very short of money this month, and I am learning a lesson here. I really can't afford to spend so much money on the computer each month just so I can get it finished by November. This means that I will only be spending around £300 this month. That should get me the Lian-Li case and 2 hard drives, and possibly if I can stretch to it and my 20+ hours of overtime can pay for it, a BD-ROM/DVD-RW drive, or possibly something else that won't radically depreciate in value (unlike the combo drive, hah!)

This might mean that, by the time I come to purchase the next batch of things for my computer next month, Nvidia will have released a statement about it's upcoming Nforce 780i SLi chipset. I'm making that name up, but we will all just hope that it can support 3 way SLi, PCI-Express v2, Socket 775, and DDR3 to 1600MHz. It's just a dream of mine, don't worry.

Now, in a shock move, I have decided to initially downgrade the spec of my PC, just so that I can get the damn thing finished without going overdrawn on the second week of the month and relying on Ebay for income...

The processor is being downgraded to a Q6600, but it will be overclocked. Let's hope for at least Q6700 speeds on this thing. The memory will be 2GB of the 4GB I wanted, same speeds on the modules, just less of it. And there will be no OS for the first month.

Good idea, saves a lot of money at very little cost. RAM is easy to upgrade later and you can probably buy some better CPU cooler and get a sweet overclock on it. I think you need to get the G0 SLACR version of the 6600 for best OC, from what I've heard.

I just ordered about £900 of kit to get the computer up and running. I'm sacrificing slightly - there's no PhysX, only 2GB of PC8500, and I won't be purchasing the second 8800 Ultra until next month.
