A question about, and if possible, a hot Ram upgrade for my lappy. It is a Rock 780 Extreme custom. I like the idea of quicker Ram (PC3 - 8500F, 533Mhz) not if I can though on being SODIMM?

Yeah, but what I would be after would be something Like this but not sure if that is worth it even for a gaming lappy.

EDIT> should really test links. There is also the matched pairs for a similar price.

TBH, with DDR2 and 3 I don't think you see that much improvement from higher speeds and tighter timings as you did with DDR, especially as processor synchronous clocks are no longer that important.

Could be completely wrong though.
