I reckon it's good. At last, a good web browser on a phone.

Looks good, though the contract sucks apparantly, and you can't use it with anything else.

One thing really noteworthy is the multitouch... I hope to see this developed on a much larger scale, making tablets and UMs much more viable.

I think the contract is pretty good to be honest. I think it's $59.99 on an AT&T package in the states. It gives you unlimited web access and email usage, and I'd never manage to use up all those minutes or texts that come with it. Sure, other contracts can give you unlimited web and email access, but only on a rubbish mobile browser that can't even open Hotmail (OK, so maybe not even the best browsers can work with Hotmail, but you get my point), whereas the iPhone will come with Safari as standard, and I'm pretty sure we'll see mobile versions of Firefox or Opera getting to it pretty soon.

Well I've heard people say bad stuff about it, can't remember what. Could just be the company you have to use.

I've hard bad stuff about the AT&T Visual Voicemail. If somebody fakes your Caller ID, they can access your Voicemail. Though, it's not a problem with the iPhone, but a problem with AT&T. I think that it is falsely causing people to believe that the iPhone itself is hackable.

I have nothing against the iPhone, just I had heard bad stuff about the contract. That could possibly be it.

I can't see anything bad about the contract at-a-glance, but maybe there's something lurking there. Looks like a great deal to me.

I don't think it's the contract, more the actual service. Or the fact you can't choose your own. I really don't know.
