ive played like 10 minutes of this and its ok, i guess. I've been told there are much better versions of it though!

Basically, you are playing the RTS section.

then there are custom maps that basically just demolish the original game, you can have racing, tower defense(play gemcraft, VERY addictive ^^) etc.

I stole both of these off my flatmate today and installed them. Played through the tutorial stuff. Was OK, I guess. Not sure if multiplayer works or anything like that.

The Warcraft 3 online community is still booming because they haven't made an RTS since, they've just been making WoW "The Shizzle"
