I believe we need a forum related to software that is for the discussion of web, especially with a lot of Web 2.0 application these days, AJAX and other related stuff.

What do other people think of this idea, and is it worth expanding as software isn't just your executionable programs sitting on your hard drive now, it's all becoming web based (e.g. GCal, Google Docs & Spreadsheets, etc.)

Interesting, but I beleive software already covers this. Discuss software in the base part, then you have stuff for programming open source and beta, all of which web falls in to.
