DRM is a bad idea (currently) and will prevent the growth of the portable music/media market. Why not just use a standard file format instead of all these proprietary types which in turn require specialised media players? It would be great if someone could buy a portable media player and just play whatever they wanted to download, from whatever source (providing that it is legal, and not a copy from, say, another media player or PC). I want a GMF (General Media File) to be created!
