Hey guys

I just bought a digital piano. It's a Yamaha YDP S31. It's a pretty compact but very nice digital piano. It cost me £710 including a bench from Amazon. It will be turning up next week between Tuesday and Thursday.

I'm quite excited about receiving this on Wednesday.

I'm mostly going to be playing for my own enjoyment. I probably won't get in to reading/playing sheet music. I'll generally be playing by ear various things I listen to, adding my own personal twist to things like I used to do many years ago. The difference now is that I actually have a taste in music and in certain genres.

So...

I'll probably do a lot of music from films and computer games (especially EQ2 and RIFT) and I'll do my own personal interpretations of some Anjunadeep stuff (unwinds, undo, whatever) - so, proper chillout music. Lots of chords and shit. Yeah.

..i actually did this a few months ago too xD no prior experience when bought and I've not played for weeks xD i was about half way through learning to (poorly) play a few pieces of nerd music. hopefully you have more dedication than i ^_^
